Article X. Littermate Information Program (LMI)

  1. The LMI Program is designed to provide breeders with information enabling them to make knowledgeable breeding decisions.
  2. Littermate information is gathered throughout the registration process and includes but is not limited to the following:
    • Hip certification.
    • Faults and Virtues form, including color, coat, and any health problems.
    • Verified height, weight form.
  3. The information regarding each puppy in a litter (LMI) will be compiled by the registrar and made available upon request to TSSR breeders in good standing.
  4. Breeders should report a combined average return rate of at least 50 percent LMI data from all litters produced.
  5. Partial information is acceptable, though it may not qualify the puppy for upgraded registration papers.
  6. Any breeder found by the Board of Directors to have deliberately withheld or provided false LMI information may face the suspension and/ or revocation of any and all TSSR privileges.
