Article XIV. Officers
Section A. Registrar
- Registrar is a non-compensatory position filled by TSSR Board of Directors appointment.
- Registrar is an office of confidentiality.
- Registrar must know, comply with, and generate all TSSR registry rules, forms and certificates.
- Registrar must supply receipts for any expenses incurred during the execution of his/her duties to the Board of Directors for reimbursement approval.
- Registrar must be able to competently work with various computer applications as necessary to perform registration and data requirements.
- Registrar must be able to perform duties in a timely manner.
- Registrar must comply with all decisions and requests of the Board of Directors.
- Registrar will provide data backups to assigned Board of Directors members.
Section B. Board of Directors (BOD)
- A member of the BOD must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have been involved in the Shiloh Shepherd breed for a minimum
of two (2) years and have an interest in moving the breed forward. - Must have Kennel registered with TSSR.
- Must have a TSSR Breeders Code of Ethics on file with the Registrar.
- Must have been involved in the Shiloh Shepherd breed for a minimum
- To become a member of the BOD, he/she must be sponsored by one current
member of the BOD and approved by majority vote of the BOD. - BOD members are expected to participate in all meetings via phone conference calls, email, or internet chat.
- Excessive failure to participate will result first in a written and verbal warning, then expulsion from the Board.
- The BOD is an office of confidentiality.
- The BOD is a non-compensatory position and consists of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Advisors.

Section D. General Rules
- TSSR Board and regular members of the TSSR may own Shilohs outside the TSSR registry, but are required to register their TSSR dams’ litters with the TSSR.
