Behind Your Registry
The TSSR is a not for profit incorporation. Our board members share a common love of the Shiloh Shepherd breed but also a sense of duty to shepherd the breed and serve both the TSSR organization, as well as our registrants, mission and goals.
Please feel free to contact the TSSR with any questions or concerns. Should you wish to contact the TSSR board as a whole you may send e-mail to board@tssr.info.
Meet Your TSSR Board of Directors
President and Registrar
Christi Yonavick
I have been serving the TSSR as Registrar since 2005.
I am a Registered Nurse but am now retired. I became involved with Shiloh Shepherds in 1998 when I purchased our first Shiloh Shepherd “Chewbacca.” I quickly became very involved with showing Chewie and within the first year and a half had become the proud owner of Chewie, Jackson and Chyna.
Over the years, I have been continuously learning about the Shiloh breed and had our first litter of puppies in 2001. I handles our own Shilohs in the conformation show ring, and enjoy helping to show Ridgewood Shiloh progeny. You can always seem to find me either showing, helping others out with showing, or assisting them in learning to show their own dogs.
I am very active in the Shiloh Shepherd breed belonging to the ISSDC (International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club), and as stated above am the President/Registrar of The Shiloh Shepherd Registry, Inc. (TSSR).
I am married and occasionally you will see Peter at a show. Peter is retired and usually will stay home to take care of the Ridgewood fur babies while Christi and Trish are off at a show. We live on 2.5 totally fenced acres of land near Reading, PA. All the dogs live inside as family members and there are NO KENNELS or KENNEL RUNS.

TSSR Treasurer
Gary Runyon
I have been Treasurer and a Director of the TSSR since 2005 when it was reorganized as a not-for-profit registry. I recently retired after a long-term career as a financial executive of a global corporation’s healthcare IT solutions business.
My wife Traci and I acquired our first Shiloh Shepherd in 2002, and our love for, and commitment to, this breed has never waivered. Our first three Shilohs, Bismarck, Rommel, and Calypso, collectively known as the “Arties” were a consistent presence at rare and all breed conformation shows on the east coast and in Canada and continued to actively campaign our Shilohs into the second and third generation of their lines. Owning accomplished champion dogs naturally led to breeding them, and we are proud grandparents of over 90 progeny from our Stardust breedings and stud services.
In addition to my registry responsibilities, I perform and/or assist in LER’s, ISSDC Temperament Testing, and advise on conformation rules and guidelines for the club. From time to time I still handle and advise in conformation shows both our and other Shiloh owner’s dogs. Traci and I reside in Southeastern PA and share our home with 7 Stardust Shilohs.

Trish Beltz
I am a Social Worker and became involved with Shiloh Shepherds when I was still in college and my parents purchased their first Shiloh Shepherd “Chewie.” Graduation and marriage to Brennan led to my first Shiloh Shepherd “Kota,” a Chewie/Rebel son bred by her my mom, Christi.
I started to handle Kota in the show ring and quickly caught the “show bug.” The rest is, as they say, history and to this day you will occasionally even see Brennan handling a Shiloh or two.
My husband Brennan and I created B&T Shilohs in it’s own right but we combined with Ridgewood Shilohs a few years ago to strengthen our breeding programs. Since my mom and I travel to all of the shows and assist each other constantly with the dogs it was logical for us to join under one name.
I no longer handle dogs in the show ring, but is still very active in the Shiloh Shepherd breed. I am Past-President of the International Shiloh Shepherd Dog Club (ISSDC), Show Chairperson of the TSSR (since 2005) and a TSSR Director. When I’m at a show I can usually be found assisting with stewarding and occasionally am a judge. You will always find me assisting in some way at a dog show or other Shiloh Shepherd function.
Brennan and I live with our Shiloh Shepherds on two acres. We share our home with all our Shilohs as they are a huge part of our lives. I have also been able to use my Shilohs in my work as therapy dogs as their temperaments are so well suited for that kind of “job.”
