Article VI. Certificate of Registration Replacements, Amendments, and Transfers
- If a registered dog is sold without the Certificate of Registration, the Certificate should be surrendered by the recorded owner to the Registry for cancellation.
- A request for a duplicate registration certificate can be sent to the registrar by the recorded owner, in writing, along with the dogs full registered name and a check for $5.00 made payable to TSSR. The breeder of a litter can request a duplicate blue paper by sending in the blue paper litter number (can be found on the litter placement form), the sire and dam of the litter, DOB of the litter, along with a check for $ 5.00 made payable to TSSR for each duplicate blue papers requested.
- To obtain a replacement for a damaged Registration Certificate recorded owner must submit the original certificate to TSSR and pay a replacement fee of $5.00.
- A recorded owner may request a change on the dog’s Certificate by submitting the Certificate of Registration and appropriate supporting documentation to TSSR. There shall be no charge for one amended Certificate in any 12-month period. Additional Certificates will be $5.00 if requested in less than a 12-month period unless the error was made by the registrar.
- Upon the death of any registered dog, a copy of the dogs Certificate of Registration and a statement signed by the recorded owner showing the date of and cause of death should be submitted to TSSR for recording.
- Whenever legal title to a registered dog passes to another by any operation of the law (death, divorce, etc), TSSR will transfer the registration of such dog to the new owner for a $5.00 fee.
- Anyone wishing to downgrade their dog’s papers from breeding to non-breeding should notify the TSSR registrar of this change. New non-breeding papers will be issued with no fee charged.
